Anyone else noticed on main site, in online shop, what appears to be a pic of new wembley kit. When you click on it though just takes you to this years away kit??

    Sorry if already posted.

so it's not actually available online yet

the link goes to Surridge training kit

was intending to buy one but it is so similar to normal kit, just the star and a bit of writing, not worth it really

What a pile of cack that is!!!

For crying out loud, PC and GS get a decent kit supplier next season e.g Nike, adidas, Umbro, Puma etc.... Even Grimsby Towns kits are supplied by Nike!

    Not sure I like it

I thought the stars above a badge were only for countries that had won a major tournament. Also they seem to be skipping a round or overlooking the fact that we're playing a semi final. The statement "FA Cup Wembley 2008" does seem a little misleading.

the star just seems wrong. Either we use the star on all our shirts to signify that we once won the cup or we don't use it at all. You can't just pick and choose which matches you'll use it in.

Oh yeah, so it has. So basically, the shirt already had relevence to the FA cup without needing to rush out yet another £40 shirt for one match.

Why can't you pick and choose what matches you use it in?

It'd be daft to play a league games with a star when we haven't won the league and I'm sure a third FA Cup kit every year would be derided on here.

It's the first time in nearly 100 years we've made it to the cup semi-final ... I wont buy the kit because I never do but if others want to good on 'em. Does it really matter though that the kit has a star on it? Seriously?

I think you're just moaning for moanings sake.

yeah but they are not bespoke designs for Grimsby or York. they are just the standard issue ones that get bought by Sunday league teams up and down the country.

only difference being they've got a badge and sponsor on.

Have a look on their sites....

the quality of the training kits etc.. way better than ours even if they are bog standard. The kids would much rather parade around school in a Nike tracky top than a Surridge one.

It just doesnt seem right to suddenly have it one a kit for one game but not any of the others.
