will be fine if thats all you need it for, i bought one of these http://www.ebuyer.com/product/139119 as a second comp for more or less the same use, kids, music surfing etc lower spec than the currys one but i have no complaints

Be careful if you want to play games, that card may not be supported. And with laptops it's tricky to change.
