Can we look at getting a new manager in place for when the season ends for a change? We've a habit of sacking at the start of an international break, but not appointing anyone until well after... The same with the end of season break.
Give someone new the chance to come in and sit down with the players and other coaches to implement their style well in advance of the season.

The same with signings. We always go to the end of the transfer window, whilst many other similar level clubs have their squad more or less complete as they face pre season. We drop vital points in those first few weeks of the session playing with a squad that isn't good enough or ready to compete physically.

We should start the recruitment process and include Conor in it but it would be nice to have the person in place as the OP says.

Defo reckon it’s his job to lose. If he makes a decent fist of these last 10 games it’s hard to not see him getting the job full time.
I’d hope he’d seek assurances on having a say on recruitment though. Doesn’t strike me as a yes man either.

The statement hinted at the summer, I’m not expecting anything before June! It’s the Barnsley way

It's his job to lose. Not quite the same situation as Heckingbittom but there are similarities.

Certainly interesting that they never turned to Devaney this time

A process being led by Mladen Sormaz, what could go wrong?

If he wins half the remaining matches, I think he is already here
