    it'll probably go the usual way. anyone not in a job will start on the list. Devaney will be default favourite to being with. odds will fluctuate based largely on the uninformed b0llocks us lot spout on here. actual contenders will emerge out of nowhere, then we'll end up with someone none of us have heard of, that didn't feature anywhere on the original short list. from Dagestan under 9's

    Barnsley in the Championship are an attractive proposition to foreign coaches. Barnsley in League One are not.

    I just desperately hope we don't take another gamble on a foreign coach. someone may correct me here, but looking at the current list I don't see a single foreign manager outside of the Championship. by foreign I mean new to English football, from a different country.

    I just want someone who understands league football - either as a player or a coach, preferably both. I need connection now, not someone who has a knowledge of EFL built on Panini sticker books and Wikipedia.
