Probably best to delay LJ's departure till this time next week. Then the new guy won't take the hit for defeat at Coventry and being dumped out of the cup by non-league opposition?
I can't see a new guy being installed so quickly. If they got shut today then it's likely that Burton and Hecky would step up for a couple of weeks.
Don't you think that Heckingbottom is part of the current problem ? He has his input into 1st team along with Johnson and Tommy Wright.
Not really. I think the current problem is the boardroom strategy being forced on the club. Non football personnel trying to run the football side of the business seems like a recipe for disaster to me. I don't think Burton and Hecky are the long term answer (inexperienced and another big gamble) but I'd trust them to hold the fort while a replacement is found. The problem is that I don't trust the board to get the appointment right.
