    Continuity by appointing a manager from within is the best way to go if Barnsleys recent history is anything to go by. Allan Clarke left after his first spell. Hunter took over, promotion followed. Viv Anderson left Wilson took over, promotion followed. Paul Hart was sacked. Ritchie took over. Now Hill has gone Flitcroft must be given the job.
