I've just ordered a new contract phone from O2. I've always been on pay as you go until now.

Does anyone know if I can keep my old number, once I get my new contract phone - and If so, how does one go about setting this up?

    Cheers,

    It's O2...

Will I have to ring them up for them to do it? Or can I do it myself?

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Apparently, it's easy to do and you just need a PAC code mate. Whatever the hell one of those is.

    Its easy

Just ring your o2 PAYG Customer services and tell them you want to transfer your number onto a o2 contract.

They will do this for you without having to request a PAC code.

It will be done within 48 hours.

    Hope it helps
