Not if you forget you've put some bottles in the back of a cupboard and after 12 months they drop the contents...
If you read the article they last several years. It’s only 12 months if put in a composter. I don’t tend to keep my beer in my compost bin ( I also doesn’t normally stay in the cupboard for a year either
