hes talking to 2 premier league players this morning about coming in on loan. wages are the stumbling point apparently. we shall see if its true later.

IMO Phillips may well have signed if Birmingham didn't make him an offer. From what I've read it seems the biggest factor was the fact signing for the Brummies meant he didn't have to move his family. I don't think money ever really came into it

 

We matched Birmingham on wages for Phillips but he moved there for family reasons you numpty.

Apart from the fact they can offer more money, bigger crowds and a chance of promotion.

We were only ever in the running if no one else came in for him, which was never going to be the case.

1. JACK CORK of Cheslea FC. Promising defensive midfielder, also has championship experience with Scnuthorpe. He has been linked with moves to a number of clubs, but no deals done yet.

2. KRISZTIAN NEMETH of Liverpool. Promising young striker.
