Long time guest only just bucked up courage to register as my keyboard skills are very modest. I think that the last two results have been fabulous and full credit should go to SD and the players but I think it is too early to start to aclaim Diego as an adequate replacement for Howard. Don`t get me wrong I don`t think we`ve seen the best of Diego yet and a big offer for Brian could render this argument accademic but I think some people are underestimating how much Howard has contributed in the last few seasons. Hello and welcome! You're right ... two fantastic results. really thought we'd blown it when we dropped into the bottom 3. As for Howard I can't see him being with us if someone throws a decent offer in but Leon looks a good replacement. Will still need the cash to strengthen the team - especially up front! </p>

Dont forget teams will get to know about Diego and will probably start picking him up more, pretty much every team knows Howards one of best laikers!
Oasismad BFC i think you'll always have that problem with any good player, test comes next season when we see if he can still play as well when opposition mark him up more tightly
Agree with you. Leon has been terrific in the last 2 games. His first 2 in his best position. But can he carry us through a season like Sir Bri. Without his goals (even taking the penalties out) we would be in trouble. Can Leon produce all season? Hopefully he will get a chance to prove it from now until the end of the season. But like you say, it is probably all academic anyway, Howard will be off in the summer. £3m in bank. Anderson and Leon in middle of park and money to bring new players in. All is looking good.
just hope we actually got offered a figure close to the 3million that is being banded around, knowing our luck we'll end up selling him for 1,5 or something like that
