    Where can I search and private a new reg? Been looking on DVLA but they don't really offer much. Ta.

    Pricey! depends on the reg. They range from 89 quid to thousands

    BC03 BFC would only be £344. I looked at 1 BFC ages ago and it was about 70 grand! - and it's now 18 grand

    The DVLA....

    will sell you any unissued plate. Places like RegTransfers charge more, when in fact all they do is log into the DVLA site and buy it from there, then charge you a premium.

    For a plate that's already been issued you'd have to use a broker, but NEVER pay the price they ask, I paid under 50% of the advertised price for mine.
