    West Ham are paying a tiny proportion of the cost of converting the stadium for football.
    Karen (now Lady!) Brady made a powerful speech at last year's Conservative Conference about the need to cut public
    expenditure but is apparently quite happy to benefit from it in a totally disproportionate way when the money is coming the way of her
    club.
