Any manager instructing all 11 of his players to come back for a corner should be shot in the centre circle immediately after.
Ok I'll be nice. They can be shot in the dugout instead, it's a bit harsh to expect them to have to walk out to the centre circle
It is very annoying. But there's a reason. Biggest clubs in the world do it. We will never know how many corners we don't concede from. I get why we do it but we don't have much pace to counter, so perhaps it would be better if we leave someone up there. Fk knows, that'll be why I'm not a football manager
Or they start at the centre circle but don't actually get shot until they jog back to the 18 yard box.
I watched MOTD and noticed how many teams defend corners with 11 in the box. The difference is that they had the talent to play out, which of course involves passing the ball to a teammate. Hmmm!
I'll go against popular opinion and fully agree with shooting them in the centre circle. ......one knee at a time
Must be a reason but, watching Saturdays game, while we defended them well, I reckon their 17 corners led to us having to defend at least 30 balls into the box as every time cleared came straight back. Leave 1 up takes 2 defenders out the box. I just don't get it.
