Early April fools, the penalty one would be an horrendous shout.

I would like to see the ref moving the ball forward x amount of yards when a opposition player deliberately stands in front of the ball to stop a free kick being taken
Also a yellow card should be 10 min sin bin

Didn't they have the 10 yards further forwards at one point - but if the foul was in a good spot - like the edge of the area - the opposition would **** about to get the kick 10 yards closer so it became more difficult to score with a big wall.

    Or did I dream that..

It would be interesting if the attacking team had the option of moving the game 10 yards or just the wall to 20 yards back.

I think the sin bin should be experimented with - to see if it works or screws the game up. A yellow in the last 10 minutes is a sending off...so it might be too harsh a punishment.

I'd also like to see the offside rule changed so that to be offside the player has to be in an offside both when the ball is kicked - and when they receive it - i.e. if one of the opposition players has got between the recieving player and the goal whlist the ball has been mid pass then play carries on. the whole point of the offside rule is to prevent goal raking - so if you get the ball and you''ve got to beat two men to score that satisfies the spirit of the law. Particularly when a strkier has been closing down a goalie, the goalie clears it and as the striker runs back to his lines his team mate heads it back up field and the striker takes posseion of the ball surrounded by defenders but gets ruled offside. When that happens it's a bit **** and adds nothing to the game.

Players approaching officials to argue decisions should be ruled against.

Should follow rugby and only allow captains to talk to the referee/assistants.

That one always puzzles me, it’s not like the ref is suddenly going to turn around and go “oh ok lads I see your point of view, I’ll change my mind”

I think they’ve been pressured into giving red cards though

There’s definitely been a increase in reds cards of late, I just find it annoying when they clamour around the ref after he’s given a decision,

It’s something we don’t do to a great extent tbh , I’ve seen us once or twice with a really bad tackle or incident but more often than not we seem to walk away compared to other teams .
I feel it’s a better way to just get on with it but a lot of refs seem to be influenced or pressured by other teams doing this and we seem to miss out a lot by not following suit imo
