Hi all. I'm new to this site and just thought that i'd give my thoughts about the new season. Looking forward to the season but like most people on this board really worried about our attacking options. The current strikers, nardiello apart, imo are just not good enough for this league. Some people may also think that nads is not good enough but look at his goals per starts ratio and it blinds every other striker at the club. I believe someone in the mould of shipperley would be a perfect partner for nads and i'm sure if we stretched the purseskins just a bit we could get shipps in on a season long loan. As for elsewhere i think ritchie has replaced mcphail and shuker quite well with togwell and mcindoe. I think that with togwell anchoring the midfield it will allow howard to get forward more to support the strikers and mcindoe is a better winger than shuker. Overall with the current squad we've got i think that we'll stop up. It will be a struggle but i think that with the team spirit that ritchie and holden have generated we'll be ok.
