Watson. Thought he had a great game tonight, a proper full back, kept his position well, tracked players well, got close and passed accurately.

Ogbeta. Does he know what position he is playing? Liked to drift into centre midfield and then started making forward runs. Maybe Conor told him he had a free role when in position, who knows. He had a better second half and made some great forward passes.

Cleary. Wow, think he’s going to be a star this season. Strong, fast, great touch and fabulous crosses. Oakwell held its breath when he got the ball.

Kelly. Quick feet, tenacious, great at driving the ball forward, very excited to see how he plays against Bolton,

Bland. Yeah, not a new signing but had to say it anyway…. He purrs in midfield, looked so experienced, made great tackles, good passes and if anything we looked weaker when Yoga replaced him.

Hes the only one im not convinced with. He makes some lovely passes, but plenty of dodgy ones too. I don't think he's great defensively, although he isn't bad either, and I would like him to overlap more often. But maybe thats an instruction from Conor. When he does go into midfield we do have the overload on tbf. But overall I think since he's been in id give him a 6/10. Like I said, I think his first touch and passing is a little dodgy atm. But hopefully with more game time it smoothens out

I’d agree after Saturdays game, but I thought he showed what he’s about against Fleetwood. Another player that will grow playing to his strengths with our new coaching regime.

He's played well in every game so far. A wide player that wants to go at his man.

Was certainly tactical with Ogbeta to drift inside with Cleary being high and wide.

Like others, I’m not fully sold on him yet. Reserving judgement on the keeper too.

The rest of the signings have been excellent in my opinion though.

I said in the matchday thread last night that we’ve signed some excellent young players this window to go with some excellent young players we already had at the club.

I've been impressed with all the new boys in all 3 games, but very concerned we have conceded 2 goals against Burton and Fleetwood.
Bolton next game coming up ,is going to be a real test.

Don't think he's fast enough to overlap Cleary lol.

Watson was very good at right back, composed and never seemed to lose possession. As soon as he was slotting in centrally, you could tell that wasn’t natural but won’t be asked to do that often.

Ogbeta and Cleary look like they’ll be a real force down that left hand side. Not sure many full backs will be able to handle them. Little bit quieter second half but Cleary still so dangerous. I think Hourihane will make Ogbeta one of the best full backs in the league.

Kelly will be playing Championship football in two years, hopefully with us. As will Jon Bland.

Vickers is dangerous but comes in fits and starts. Looks really handy.

    Sweet Mary, Mother of Joseph.

I can't contain myself anymore but Paddy K is undoubtedly the second coming of Neil Redfearn.

    Kelly, a good old-fashioned box-to-box midfielder, a rare delight.

I like him as well and he is more than good enough to play regularly but who to leave out? We have some real talent in midfield and it’s quite a headache for Conor

The ghost of Redders, probably our last true box-to-box charging midfielder

It's clear that Conor has use playing free down the left, with Clearly and Oggy being the risk takers. Meanwhile, when attacking down the right Watson stays more defensive and Vickers likes to cut inside. He protects the ball better that Clearly, but the latter is going to lose it more with taking more risks.

Best thing about this is there's a tactical plan
