In the five games under Ismael four of which have been wins, only once have we had the majority of possession and that was against ten men QPR. What a change from having most of the play and nothing to show for it.
In an ideal world, we'd play some brilliant possession based football and get the wins "deserved" off the back of it. As an ideal world doesn't exist, I will absolutely take conceding possession if it means grinding out wins. We'll have some awful games and defeats on the way, as the Cardiff game showed, but if it ultimately gets results that keep us in the division and beyond then I'm happy. I'll take wins and 41% possession over defeats and 60% possession every day of the week.
