Think it's not going to be as easy as just buying a good centre forward. I think there is some work to be done on getting our lads to create decent chances. Our strikers last year weren't very good (just looking at how many goals they scored) - but it's not like they were missing lots of sitters either. We do need a CF who can do the sensible things like get himself into the six yard box, beat his man to the front post, follow shots in from outside the area in case the keeper drops it/rebounds etc gets more shots on targets, put his head on crosses - all that good stuff - but I didn't really see us creating chances that our strikers were missing consistently. Some games we really didn't look like we were going to score at all - for me it really is the strikers fault (and theirs alone) when you're hammering a side 0-0 and you can't believe the ball isn't in the back of the net because they're spooning it over & wide etc. Got to say, if I was an impartial, well proven striker, I'd look at BFC as a big risk to my reputation.
