Do you love it, hate it or couldn't care less?

Not a big fan of it personally as I find it an overrated night plus as a dog lover cant wait for the endless fireworks going off until daft o'clock.

Feel like I have been fraped by Phil.

Each to their own however and if it is your kind of night I hope you have a good one.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Couldn't give a toss t be honest. It was great when there were shitloads of us going round town, but that's long in the past. Now I resent being kept up by pissed up dickheads doing exactly what I used to do, and you're bang on about the fireworks. My dogs don't seem to mind them, but there are those close by that do, and they start howling, so mine start howling, and so on.

I used to really enjoy going down to a local, chatting to folk I've barely seen all year then staggering home about 1am. Now there aren't really any locals, and the ones that are left tend to be full of idiots.

I've noticed in the last few years my friends have tended to have parties at home and invite a few round, not sure if that's just a getting older thing. It's probably about 10 years since I went in town on New Years Eve.

Alongside Mad Friday as the most overated day of the year. It's just another day but people buy into the commercial aspect and so many like queuing twice as long for a drink and paying twice as much for a taxi home. New years day is much better.

Used to go out on the piss when I was younger but haven't for years. I just don't get what's worth celebrating about the calendar changing to a new year. NYD is just another day.
