Tininho loaned to Barnsley By Sid Collins - 14/01/2008 11:34 Left-back Tininho has been loaned to Barnsley for a month. That just goes to show how low he's regarded at Albion. Why...? ...Because we've just lost or regular left-back to a two match suspension, and for Tininho to be loaned out while other players have to fill in out of position just goes to show that he's a long way, a very long way, from playing for Albion. Tininho did play in the first league game of the season and looked good attacking, but seemed to lack any defensive ability. He only then appeared in two League Cup games and the theme continued with Tininho continually getting himslef out of position by racing up front then ambling back. Perhaps there is a decent player in there somewhere so what better way to find out than a loan deal where he can (maybe) get a few Championship games and see how he does. Any Albion fan whose seen him play won't hold out much hope of Tininho coming good though.
