report still manages to drag up the usual boring ******. Arriving Chelsea players beeing greeted with the sight of cobbled streets, flat caps and whippets. How fecking origional!!....... oh and Kes got a mention of course. (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz)
Couldn't give a monkey's I guess the reports will be just the same when the Cup is paraded past the Town Hall in the open-top bus.......
It would be nice if Barnsley DID have cobbled streets They look spot on in Edinburgh. Chuffin expensive to upkeep though, I'd imagine. So let everyone think Barnsley has posh cobbled streets (instead of the reality - some of the worst, patched up, uneven roads in western europe!). Some of the stereotypes are actually endearing, it's just the backward, out-dated, town of simpletons image that will hurt the town's economy.
Yes, they are a bit treacherous... especially when wet. Doesn't help if you're stumbling over to the chuck wagon, battered after a night on the Hartleys!
Awful lot of sterotypical comments about Liverpool on here before the game People very rarely fit in with the stereotypical image of them </p>
