    Hayes leads attack in CUP

PAUL Hayes will lead the Barnsley forward line in tonight's FA Cup third round replay at Walsall.

Hayes was a sub at Port Vale on Saturday but manager Andy Ritchie will start his top scorer in this evening's re-match at the Bescot.
Hayes scored the goal that earned Barnsley a second chance against Walsall. He has five to his credit in the competition and 10 in toal for the season.
Ritchie hinted after defeat at Port Vale on Saturday he would start with Daniel Nardiello as one of his front two. "I haven't made up my mind about that," he said yesterday.
Marc Richards and Tommy Wright started at Vale Park, both were replaced as Hayes and Nardiello came off the bench.
Ritchie will have skipper Paul Reid back tonight. He was serving a one match suspension on Saturday.
New signing, left back Paul Heckingbottom is cup tied.
Reid will be alongside Matt Carbon in the middle of the back four.
Although Bobby Hassell missed training yesterday, Ritchie expects him to start at right back with Neil Austin on the left.
Robbie Williams (ankle), Antony Kay (knee) and Dale Tonge (knee) will not be in the squad.
Tonge was due to have an exploratory operation today.
Reserve defender Rob Atkinson was in the squad at Port Vale. He will be on the bench again tonight.
In Reid's absence on Saturday, Stephen McPhail skippered the team.
Nicky Wroe is doubtful with a knee problem but Richard Kell, who was not involved on Saturday, returns to the squad.
The tie will be decided tonight, in extra time or a penalty shoot-out if needed.
If Barnsley are beaten they will play Nottingham Forest in a league game on Friday January 27 in front of Sky Sports cameras.
If they win they will play either Stoke City of Tamworth on Saturday January 28 in a fourh rounnd FA Cup tie.
Barnsley (from): Colgan, Hassell, Reid, Carbon, Austin, Shuker, Burns, McPhail, Devaney, Hayes, Wright, Flinders, Atkinson, Howard, Nardiello, Richards, Kell.
n Due to technical problems yesterday's edition was missing its normal back page Reds coverage. We apologise.
