    Don spoke to Butcher on the phone earlier today, Butcher indicated he was very interested with what barnsley have to say.

    so lets hope in the next 24 hours we have a new manager

    i would think Butcher was there at some point today, someone said Ince was there today, betting suspended, we may name tomorrow

    Yep everyone thinks because were talking to Butcher he's the favourite for the Job.

    I would like to think we are not putting all our eggs in one basket. SOD has made a statement that he was never offered the job. So at the moment no one is second choice.

    For all we know we may be interviewing another 3 people over the next few days. + the ones already interviewed. For once Don may be making sure we get the right man

    SO COME WEDNESDAY, BLACKWELL WILL BE OUR NEW BOSS :(

    This is an absolute farce and it makes me sick to see the club handled like this. I would have liked SOD and I dont really buy his explanation that hes still smarting from his sacking at N.Forest, and wants more time away from the game etc. I wouldnt be surprised if he took one look at Don and his team of muppets, and couldnt wait to get out of Oakwell pretty sharpish.

    If we really need a bit longer to make this appointment (after the Leeds game) then so be it. But its pathetic for it to have dragged on so badly.
