picking the ball from the net as i really cannot see him wanting to play in league 1 next season. Who does everyone else think are our saleable assets at the club? Please discuss...
Give over, good shot stopper, I'll give him that, but prone to errors of judgement when coming for the ball owing to being small for a keeper, and has one of the worse distributions of a keeper I've ever seen. Lower champ goaly at best, prob worth 250k
If you can't beat it, join it as they say! No, ive usually been positive and passionate but after what ive heard from hill tonight whats the fuckin point! 4th bottom overachievment, thats whats negative my man. Just to let you know, followed the reds since i was 8 and now nearly 40. For most of that time we have been in this league and this is where i want us to stay but the manager has come out tonight and admitted he is out of his depth and we'll be lucky to stay up reading between the lines. How'dya like those melons? now whos the one being negative? you need to vent your anger at the manager lad, or did you not hear the interview?
He's good enough for the championship, I dont know what people expect. He saves us more points than he costs us.
I don't know why a minority give him so little credit. He does a pretty good job considering the defence he plays behind.
Without Steele on Tuesday it would have been a cricket score and to be honest over the last couple of seasons he has had countless outstanding games. He has the occasional 'Brain Fart' moment but show me a keeper who doesn't.
Re: oh, and it will be hassell Agree Bobbies days are numbered listening to Hill tonight, he's going to play his new recruits no matter what to prove a point. Bobby needs to be playing matches ,he'll deteriorate on the bench , we might have to start a 'SAVE SIR BOBBY' campaign
Re: oh, and it will be hassell One of the things worrying me the most (performances aside) is that Hill seemingly is not interested in Bobby and when you consider the current back four I honestly believe that he should be playing to help steady the ship and add some experience. He can play anywhere across the back four so come on Hill give him a chance, he deserves it.
he's a fantastic shot stopper and his distribution seems to have got a lot quicker kicking still terrible and not great on crosses but there's no way we could get anyone better on the cheap
I got wind by that some who watched training saw Steele and Foster arguing about playing it round the back - as Hill is adamant that it isn't hit long from the back. Something happened and Hill 'dropped' them both for Southampton.....
LEAGUE ONE!!!! Are we down already? Once the team gel together, I think they would be capable of surviving relegation.
