For the first time in years ( in my opinion) the players deserve a complete lap of honour without the muppets running on and causing a premature end to the lap Whatever the result I hope the club make an effort to stop em It pisses me off every year they are allowed to do it but this year it would even worse considering the effort put in by all since the new mgt team took over
Wont happen. Muppets will run on, players will not come out, muppets will leave the pitch as soon as the announcement is made, to a chorus of boos
I agree, it bloody annoys me when all the nobheads run on the pitch. And they're usually rewarded by getting part of the players kit too while the rest of us have to stand around waiting for them to f*ck right off so we can applaud the players. Electric fencing, bring it on!
Tbh it's not rocket science. They won't stop them, but they quickly get bored after 5 or 10 minutes and leave the pitch. Don't see why they can't just wait for them to get bored, then bring the players out
For muppets you mean young children yes? I think the major problem next week will be the Hull fans. Like Wolves a few years ago.
No the muppets are the parents who should be with em , you think its ok to run on ? Not sure why the Hull fans will be a problem , they will not be until our school kids run on
OMG you complete bastad, why have you done this to me........ ?.. you have totally made me 100% agree with you, perhaps for the first time ever.
Tbh mrx, if you look closely on the day, you'll probably see that most of their parents ARE with them!
yes I know , they walk around hands in pockets looking surprised that the players have left , complete nob jockeys of the highest
Because Hull could get promoted and may run on the pitch in celebration, potentially causing problems. You can't say this hasn't happened before, it happened against Wolves when they got promoted and its happened a couple of other times before. Its far less likley the Barnsley players will come out for a lap of "honour" if away fans are on the pitch. Do I think its ok to run on? I ****ing loved it when I was a kid. Will remember to this day patting my boyhood hero Gerry Taggart on the back once and the amazing scenes and feelings after the Bradford game. I wouldn't probably dream of running on now, too old and realise its all a bit sad but I'd be some sort of **** to publically slate kids for running on grass and wanting to get close to the people they look up to.
The kids are one thing, but last season I distinctly remember middle aged blokes on the pitch acting like complete tw@ts and one in particular who was almost the last to leave the pitch. He just strolled around in his jumper like he owned the place - he was either too thick to see that he looked a complete tool or he just didn't care, either way people like him spoil it for the majority of decent fans.
