Possible clubs coming from the prem, WBA, Newcastle, M borough, and coming up from league 1 Peterboro, Leicester, , 5 games whuich will be hard on top of a clueless manager who no doubt will "bluff" his way with cryne.
If any season cried out for experience and openess then next season will be it.

Don't see why it looks to be any harder on paper than the last one to be honest. Expected Forest to be very strong - they weren't. Didn't expect Derby to be quite as dire as they were, or for Charlton to be so comically bad. Every season is prety tough at this level with surprises in store and next season will be no exception, but I don't see it as being particularly different to any other.

    agree.

WBA will be the strongest side to come down.

A random team will slide, possibly QPR.

    Newcastle will struggle.

Any season will be hard when you have the wrong manager in post.

Simple as that really. Doesn't matter who is in the division so long as we keep things simple and focus on our own brand of football. Sadly there are two things right there that Davey won't do.

It won't be any harder then usual.

The teams coming down from the Prem are doing so because they are not good enough.
The teams coming up will find that there is a big step up in class.

Simon Davey will continue to keep us up.

    Is that...

Simon Davey will continue to keep us up... **** creek? :D

Didn't Swansea and Donny just come up? They did alright (certainly compared to us). Remember, Davey thought that Swansea were the best football team in the division last year (not Wolves).

Is that what we're hoping for then?

Another season where we just about stay up? I was hoping we'd aim a little higher

Can't see it being any harder than this season. The three teams relegated are coming down for a good reason so **** all to fear.

That's how we should be playing!

Oakwell should be the type of place where they get no respect and leave at 5 O'Clock having had a torrid afternoon with no respect and no points.

    Look at it like this

None of the teams that came down from prem or up from L1 got relegated this season did they. Every season is gonna be hard mate!

Bear in mind before you answer, that you predicted the doom and despair of relegation if he stayed in charge this season and seemed disappointed when it didn't happen.

Either. I am not a massive Davey fan

that said he has managed to keep us up once again.

Sometimes I just wonder whether its better to have devil you know rather than devil you dont.

    i think its the opposite

It isn't a case of he's managed to keep us up, considering the amount of signings he's made (45), and the amount of money he's had to spend then its a case of hes managed to drag us into a relegation fight again.

Dont get me wrong im not happy with last season

I had to watch some utter dross down at oakwell. I do blame the manager for some of his crazy tactical decisions and over defensiveness at home.

However I look at Charlton fans when they came to the conclusion Curbishley could not take them any further. I also look at Newcastle fans who got shut of Allardyce when the going got tough and are now facing the drop. If they had left Allardyce in then they wouldnt be setting the world on fire but they certainly would not be in serious danger of relegation!

If you could suggest a manager who would be garaunteed to improve our position then I would be chuffed to bits. However replacing Davey is not a risk free business.
