if you stick em there, they'd be too close to west stand lower (and chucking stuff). and if you stick em in west stand lower - they'd be too close to the pitch. i don't like the idea of condensing the away support with the netting though - when fans sit closer together and are more congregated they are more likely to sing. Whereas the more you spread em out and disperse em - the more tame and quiet they become. But it's all about what the police want and not BFC (who pay for the privilege of the police telling us what to do).
Next Season, our crowds will be lower.League 1 football not as appealing /poo 'cos with this fool thats where we are going.
We've had away fans in the west stand before and no problems at all. I sat in west lower for years and never once had or saw anything being thrown. Good idea to put home fans in North stand but it's a ******* big stand for 200 people!
I understand that... but that is where you could use that stand like getting in the school kids, giving them free tickets, i would like to sit in that stand never sat in it before
But to fill it with school kids etc will cost money! turnstiles, stewards etc for very little return. I'd love to see it full of 6,000 reds fans paying a fiver or a tenner but can't see it ever being full. look at Ponty or West stand they're never full so cheap seats is possibly the only way.
