Ok so we've managed to stay up but a change is still needed in the managerial department. Cryne has tough decisions to make over the next week or so, he should say to Davey thanks for the cup run last season but you have taken us as far as you can. This season we have gone backwards and i just dont want to start the new season with that clown having wasted more of Cryne's money on foreign players who arent going to do a job for us.
Is it really necessary to refer to Davey as a clown? It's not easy managing a football club, especially one with limited resources. Show a bit of respect for what has happened today.
Cryne should give Davey until Christmas well done on survival. But next season we must see progress. Mr Cryne should tell Mr Davey that if we are below 15th at Christmas he will be on his way. For now though lets celebrate and enjoy breathing a big sigh of collective relief! Barnsley are Championship woooooooooo.
Firstly i am delighted we have stayed up, its a huge relief after the last few weeks. Secondly yes he is a clown. And finally you say Davey has had limited resources which is absolute crap. Just look at what Donny Rovers and Sheffiled Wednesday have done this season despite having spent **** all.
RE: Cryne should give Davey until Christmas Agree. Davey needs to show some big improvement and more of a desire to go out an take control of games from the off.
RE: I agree We must have one of the smallest budgets in the division, so in my opinion anything other than relegation is a major achievement. Hopefully the credit crunch will bring everyone closer to our level budgetary wise, so we may be playing on a much more level playing field next season.
Christmas? I wouldn't let him get on the bus home! I can't believe how many of you think we should let that inept d!ck plan our season and start it only for you to turn on him before the tree goes up! Get him out now and lets have a fresh start.
anyone who watched sSn about quater to one would have heard ALL th pundits say it was a good achienvement for Barnsley to stop up and they had done well.
I'm glad Because Tony Gale, Paul Jewell and Steve Cotterill have studied our club intently, haven't they?
Lets Hope The John Sheridan Reports Are True We have a pretty decent group of players, who aren't managed to the best of their ability. It's embarassing that we lost 2-0 in the cup to a team who ended up relegated to division four. We've also had our worst season since being back in the championship, even though it's our strongest side in years.
RE: Lets Hope The John Sheridan Reports Are True And why is it our "strongest side in years"? If it is. Pray tell.
RE: Christmas? I wouldn't let him get on the bus home! aye Cud. I'm all for a fresh start. But only with someone who has proven ability. Otherwise we are better sticking with the man we have. How many fresh starts have we had in the last 15 years? Changing managers does not equal success. I'm for ging him another chance until Christmas unless we can attract someone with proven ability. Not someone unproven like Sheridan etc.
RE: Lets Hope The John Sheridan Reports Are True....Why? Why?Why? why should I belive that he is the answer to Championship success. I'd prefer to stick with the devil we know rather than another punt in the dark again.
RE: Lets Hope The John Sheridan Reports Are True....Why? Why?Why? To me he's very similar to Danny Wilson and I don't mean with them both playing international football for a part of Ireland, being midfield players or playing for Wednesday. He knows how to work with a shoestring budget, gives youth a chance, has a good mix of experienced pros and plays footie the right way.
RE: Lets Hope The John Sheridan Reports Are True....Why? Why?Why? unless we can get an experienced man in, stick with what we have. The grass is not always greener.
