RE: Anyone get the feeling that we're not down yet? nt of course we are down, and have been for a while now
Don't talk rubbish We're not in the bottom 3 as it stands! There's still time left in this game, and plenty to play for this season
we cant survive, our players are way too inferior to play this level of football, hassell and howard excluded but they will be gone soon anyway
Well I can't disagree that we're playing poorly but to suggest we're down already is just stupid. I still like to think there are worse teams than us, and we know we can play decent football...at least when he who shall not be names was manager. Same players, give or take a few. We've gotta be positive, nothing gained from all this doom and gloom
Dry your eyes. There are worse teams than us in this division - question is, are there three? I'm putting my faith in that being the case
Think you'll find I'm not. I've done my share of criticising the board, the manager, ther players etc but it has simply got to that stage of the season where it doesn't count for anything. All we can do is try to stay positive, and hope for the best.
I've been incredibly frustrated with our inability to capitalise on what we achieved last year. I am extremely dissapointed with what has happened since Cardiff. I don't believe that we've appointed the right man for the job in Simon Davey and I have no faith in Gordon Shepherd as a chairman (I feel the club is being run in an amatuerish fashion). Under the circumstances I think the club is doing remarkably well to be still in it - as factually we currently are. We're not ten points adrift anchored to the bottom place - we are on even points with goal difference between us and safety. Why people are determined to howl and moan that we're dead in the water, I don't know. What is wrong with people? Hysterical? No stomach for a fight? The negativity will get us nowhere, and between now and the end of the season nothing is going to change. So we might as well suck it up.
Fact is, that if we stay up, it will be more luck than judgement -and the club is structured in such away as to suit a lower league - but we'll see what happens. It's out of our (the fans) hands - so I'm not going tolose my dignity ranting and raving on this board.

You have to admit, the Y.Post got it right in the article about G shepherd appointing the new manager when they said it would be the single most important decision he had to ever make, get it wrong and everything achieverd would be wasted. I for one dont think he got it right, I also think he wont ahve the bottle to put it right either, not for a long time so hence Div1 here we come.
Disagree Under Ritchie, we would JUST have survived - he knew how to galvanise the players when it really mattered. Sadly with the hapless, whipping-boy Davey in charge, we don't have a cat-in-hell's. Not his fault - just woefully out of his depth; fastracked by a blinkered, spendthrift chairman into a position hewasn't (and might never be) ready for. Shame on the ridiculous thinking that saw AR out on his arse.
Still, takes the heat off you, eh Gordon??
