Ok so I know its a bit early for this, but I wonder if the club could show 3 designs for both home and away. Then let the fans vote on it.

I'd missed it too and wish they'd just revert to the retro simple v neck with badge and/or embroidered bfc - plus of course sponsor's name.

I'm sure we'd sell more, especially if away kit was same in navy blue, a la Shaw Carpets vintage.

Ben mentioned it on Radio Barnsley t'other week. Said we'd got a new supplier (he didn't say who, but I know it's Puma) and that the home kit was very simple, proper Barnsley. Said the away kit was very different, but that he expects it to be a good choice.

I thought this years home kit was horrendous, I still do. But the away kit made up for it. Best we've had in years and I'll be sad to see the back of it.

as long as we dont go with a striped away kit, i hate those. and the awful new choice of all black with coloured trim is garbage as well.

I thought this years home kit was the best in years, wouldnt have minded just sticking with that for another year. If it is Puma though, they tend to make nice kits these days.

just for once, would anybody like us to go with the all red kit with white trim this time ?

the only problem with that idea is it would mean a possible all white (leeds scum) away kit.

Agree with Whitey our away kit this season is one of the best in a long while. Will be sad to see it go. Home kit is horrid.

As already said the kits have been picked, but you do have a point about fans voting. I don't know why we never do a poll as we are the people expected to buy it. Our club may think they have picked two amazing kits for next season, but if those of us who buy them don't like what they have chosen then it's going to impact sales. It wouldn't be too difficult to have a few choices to pick from and whichever choice is most popular go with that one. Obviously fans of other clubs could sabatage the voting for a pistake if it was open to everyone but it wouldn't be too hard to make it so only fans on the club system can choose.

You will never be able to please all tho. Some people like what others dislike. You will only get a majority, which could be a bad thing if you have seen the stuff some people wear.
