Them odds on Newcastle are funny They are in meltdown - have to offload an entire squad of wasters and slash their wage bill by over 75% I reckon they are much less likely to bounce back than WBA or even Middlesborough Doubless there are a lot of Geordies putting money on them though
newcastle are 4/1 elsewhere to win championship. personally, id leave them for 6 games to see how they settle. it will be everyones cup final going to st james next season, and as man utd know, teams raise there games 50% when they play the big guns.
WBA and Boro will be strong Newcastle's outlook is dubious at best. Depends entirely on how much they can afford and who they can convince to stay.
michael owen? playing away at barnsley on a windy, rainy tuesday night getting kicked allover? i dont think so. and if steven taylor stays he is fool . too good a player for the championship, he needs to move on.
"getting kicked allover?" Dont you mean Bumhole lane for that comment. Anyway he wont be there next season thats an absolute certainty
RE: "getting kicked allover?" oakwell, bumhole lane, anywhere in the division, he wil get lumps kicked out of him.
Bassong, Ameobi, Viduka, Taylor, Martins they would be formidable if they can hang on to those though the championship is no easy ride for anybody
