Needs to be built around the 4-4-2 formation. It's what won us the JPT and got us promoted. It gets the best out of Hammill, Hourihane & Winnall. None of this 'If moncur signs play him in a no.10 role'. No. If George Moncur can't play in a midfield 2 then don't sign him. He probably can anyway as the same was said about Brownhill, but you get my point.
If the rumours of being interested in Long are true than unfortunately Roberts would have to be the fall guy to the bench. I'm sure Moncur can play on a wing? So a team something like Davies, White, Long, Mawson, Bree, Hammill, Scowen, Hourihane, Moncur, Winnall and Fletcher would give us a chance. Or if Fletcher isn't seen again put Moncur if he signs up front and try and get Isgrove back for the wing. I'd not be waiting until like a week before the new season starts to bring back old loanees though. If any we are wanting to bring back aren't here by like the Dull friendly i'd look at other options.
