Davey failed to turn up earlier in the season when we were in the middle of a bad run

I'll be suprised if Davey *is* there! Patrick Cryne and Don Rowing are the invited guests!

That was down to a communication cockup

Between The Trust and The Club which meant he ended up with a prior engagement.

He's not the type to do that and judging by past meetings he's not scared of answering difficult questions.

I have heard that said before but surely there is no vetting of questions. Even if there was you could still ask the question you wanted when it came to it. As long as the questions are put forward in the right manner then what can anyone do?

I've heard valid but difficult questions put forward in the past...

and the "officials" have decreed that the questions are not appropriate

    agreed

I've heard questions put forward that have been met with 'you dont have to answer that' and 'i think we've had enough of that' from the person running the meeting. So yes any question can be asked but when some questions are asked the guest is actively discouraged from answering and the question asker shot down in flames.

The only time Ive heard that happen is when a question has been put to a player that puts them in a difficult postition with the manager. To suggest that "no difficult questions are asked" or that they are some how vetted is nonsense and you either haven't been to a Trust meeting in the last couple of years or you are talking out of your arse.

Are you talking about the Supporters Trust or one of the old supporters organisations? You haven't been a member of the trust have you?

Sorry you're right that would have been the supporters club I believe rather than the trust but isn't it just a new name? Put it this way, who chairs the meetings?
