i think we can stay up but we need to win these two games, their as big as any play off semis or fa cup match could ever be,
I think we just need to get into things. Win 2 at any time and we could go on a run. Start scoring and the same could happen. Mellis into the team on Sunday will be massive and hopefully he'll create.
Sundays gone we're not beating them, forget the Derby game, rest our better players, ready for **** or bust on Thursday
I'm afraid I'm a bit more pessimistic , staying up is a possibility but a tall order in my opinion, we need to suddenly start playing top 10 football to stand a chance. Unless Danny is allowed some spending money in January we've got sod all chance of staying up with what we've got
staying up is by no means Impossible. It may be Improbable though... but what we need to look at is a bigger picture right now. The Future. IMHO that future needs stability and I believe that Danny Wilson could be pivotal in that stability. It does not matter if we stay up by the skin of our teeth, or if we go down. The thing to me is to let Danny have a good term 3 years maybe. We have seen him perform for us before, his track record in his life after Barnsley has not been totally fantastic, but I reckon its shown a pretty decent manager that can do things within a budget. For me the rest of the season is one to look for the players of the future, IE ones to maybe keep in the present squad, the development players, the academy lads out on loan... Digby RNL etc. The main thing is that there MUST always be a Barnsley football club... no matter what level, we are part of the furniture.
Re: staying up is by no means Impossible. It may be Improbable though... It goes without saying the security of the club is paramount but if you think it doesn't matter financially if we go down or not you are deluded.
Absolutely no way that I am spending my hard earned following Kennedy, Dawson, Wiseman and Perkins down to Birmingham. They can ballacks.
sorry but exactly where do I say anything about the financial impact or is your interpretation of written English different to everyone elses?
