Toughie tomorrow. Three points required with Bradford at Crewe. Anything less and I reckon we're pushing our barrow up hill so far as the league is concerned. Next Sunday - either a glorious Wembley victory and a first trophy since 1912, or a loss and the 'run' consigned to history - would equate to three wins from six games in the JPT (penalties not included). Big potential swing in perceptions, and implications for the managerial appointment?

Eight games out of 46 still to play. Almost a fifth of the season left. Much can happen in that time.

Am sure that Robert Page will be wanting to see how much we are up for the fight today and if we put our collective foot in. Or have more than one eye on next week

Vale do go level on points if they beat us, so a win more vital for them, it could be said

I can see a very hard day at the office today..
