depends which side turns up dunnit. if it's the team that showed up against Wednesday, every chance. if it's the one that showed up against Wycombe, should probably expect the same outcome. looking forward to being back under the floodlights tomorrow though
I did not say we would win both games, but I think it's achievable. But I would take 4 points gladly right now.
Cambridge is a hideously difficult game. They've won 4 from 4 at home, and have 3 strikers with a combined 9 goals between them already. I'd argue its a tougher place to go than Hillsborough was at the minute.
Have to disagree with you there, I think. Wednesday hadn't lost at home in 14 games, just put 5 past Forest Green the league game previous, I know we had a good result against Ipswich but I'm fairly certain alot of us fans, and players for that matter, had Wycombe stuck in our heads, possibly to a lesser extent, Lincoln. I think there was a LOT of pressure on us to perform against Wednesday away, and we did. I do like Cambridge though, be a very hard game. Would have loved to have seen Sam Smith join us from them, and they have a couple of our old players too in Digby & George Williams - I'm a lot more confident though than I was going into the Ipswich and Wednesday games.
I've maybe overestimated Cambridge a little, but based on current form, I don't think it's as winnable as the OP suggests. A point there would be good. In Smith and Ironside, they've got some very enviable attacking options.
Yes, definitely agree with you there bud. Hopefully we will continue picking up momentum with a win tonight!
