lets all look forward to next sunday, we know we are struggling in the league but were in the semi final of the greatest club competition in the world
Sorry mate... ... but at this moment I couldn't give a flying **** ! Championship survival is what matters to me.
RE: Sorry mate... Agreed. Going to the semi's of the cup (okay and with a decent chance of winning it) is nowt in my book to going back to Legue One and all it entails. Heros to Zeros in a matter of months. Do you think they will chop Davey if we go down Dave?
Difficult one... ... willthey ? No I don't think you give someonea four year contract and then sack them. If the start to next season is bad then maybe.
Should they ? Well a manager who has had more funds to spend than any manager than Spackman and presided over a side that have slipped fromoutside playoff hopes in November to last minute scramble to avoid relegation, he has to take responsibility. I don't see an improvement since last season, when ,but for Nads charging over the hill to the rescue, we would have gone down.
I really don't know what is to be done... we can't keep sacking managers, but 3 wins in 20 borders on abject failure !!!

Agreed. The cup run is distracting us from what effectively is a f**king awful season. Still, I said fourth from bottom would do. Aim low, that way you're disappointed a lot less often.
for what it's worth................. I don't think many of the better players in the Barnsley team give a flying fook about wether or not we will get relegated.I think that some people are missing an important component here;the better players have already proven themselves and in my opinion will do exceptionally well at Wembley only because they have and continue to put themselves in the shop window. As such, relegation will not be an issue because I would bet they have a clause in their contracts to move on if offers come in .Therefore, even with relegation and to go on and win the cup would only enhance their careers. Some of the shortsighted few on here who accept the possibility of relegation for the sake of a good cup are equally as shortsighted as the man in charge of the team.
