First team coach. Already cleared it with him. Danny's coming back and I don't give a f.ck what everyone else thinks.
I've spoken to a lot of footballers in recent years, current and retired, and the one I've found the most interesting, honest and passionate about the game was Nicky. The likes of Wilkinson and Smith wouldn't last two ******* minutes if he was involved at Oakwell. He'd shake the club up, guaranteed. Which is probably why they ignore him every time he applies for a role at the club. I'm working that weekend so won't be able to make that evening, but I would urge anyone who can make it, to make it. Honesty is Eaden's middle name. My favourite quote of his? "he needs to grow a ******* spine" (on Scott Wiseman)
Still gutted that am missing this. Eaden's like Keith Hill. Sez it how he sees it, not arsed what others think. He was quality on Football Report last neet. So yeh. Gutted. But Ken Morrison n that.
For me, you couldn't get two people further apart. Eaden is as you describe him: he tells it how it is and gets straight to the point. I haven't a ******* clue what Keith Hill is on about half the time. It's all riddles and metaphors, in jokes and psycho-babble. If he says it like he sees it, the man must be hallucinating. Not that I think he's daft; I think he fully intends to confuse his audience. That's half of the fun of it for him.
I disagree. But I would do. Because mine and your opinions of Keith are poles apart and have been since he swaggered into Oakwell in June 2011. But for my money, I always understood what he was on about. Didn't always agree like. But I'm yet to meet someone I always agree with. Sez it like it is. Honest bloke. Like Eaden.
If we can't get in because it's packed due to excessive advertising, I'm going to shave off your beard.
We're going to be auctioning this, kindly donated by Nicky with all profits going to the Embrace Children's Transport charity.
