Those damn Pats nearly messed it up I see. I would have loved the Giants to beat them at the final hurdle. It doesn't look good for the sport to have a team unbeaten.

Just finished watching the game....amazing performance when it looked like they were beaten.
That's ridiculous to say it doesn't look good for the sport - that game was a credit to the NFL, the Giants had nothing to play for - already in the playoffs and wouldn't want to risk injury but they played for pride and gave their all wanting to dent that record. If the Patriots go on to lift the Superbowl then there can be no disputing that they are the number 1, and a perfect season will prove them the best.

    Great quote from Nick Halling

"What about the unsung heroes, I know he's not unsung but Mike Vrabel!"

What You Think About The Games Tonight?

I doubt I will see much, as darts world championship semi finals are on and so television will be booked up.

    Looking forward to it

Almost as though the playoffs start early.

Saints @ Bears first - hopefully a win for the Saints to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Then the Redskins and Vikings games are both on, I'll be looking for both to lose if the Saints have won, otherwise rooting for the Redskins.
But all 3 have tough looking games. (Vikings @ Denver and don't expect Dallas will make it easy for Washington)

And the Titans game is a very interesting scenario - win and they are in the playoffs, lose and they are out and Cleveland are in....but it doesn't matter what Cleveland do in their game at all!

Not a good start for the Saints.
10-0 down after 9 mins. They just don't seem able to move the ball.

Saints Haven't Conceeded In A While

Those Dolphins are doing well. They might be losing, but they could get a second win.

    Finally! GET IN!

Thought they'd blown it, looked like they'd have to settle for a FG, a dodgy pass interference call (not even anywhere near the one that wasn't given for the Bears earlier) which gives them another 4 downs from the 1 yard line and they waste the first 2 downs.

    Oh well!

No pass defence from the Saints again!

Good play by the Bears though.

Game on again! Just need to get some defence going....if they can just hold this till half time as they get possession at start of 2nd half.

    ****, **** and thrice ****!

Can't even hold them for 15 bloody seconds!

It was obvious last year that they had problems with the pass defence and Sean Payton didn't address it.

    Chatting away to yourself? Haha.

Watched the Patriots last night but Sky is being taken by Darts at the mo. Will probably watch some of the playoff games once I'm back at Uni with my housemate.

Seems more productive to rant online than just in the house!

Cowboys Messed Up That Field Goal

Pretty good scuffle followed though, that more than made up for it.
