Patriots and Colts game didn't disapoint at all. Colts shouldn't have thrown away such a lead, but Tom Brady was on fire with some of his plays late on. A great advertisement for the sport. Shame Sky lost the live feed for five or ten minutes, thus missing a Peyton Manning touchdown.

....the one time they choose a man's sport they have to wear crash helmets and a three piece suite up their jumpers.</p>

Plenty of skill involved in NFL. I don't see what protection they wear as to do with anything.

the physical side of NFL is far different to that of rugby. If rugby players tackled each other like NFL players do, they would die, as many NFL players did before they brought in equipment. That's not to say rugby isnt a hard game, it is - they're both just different in the way people get hit/tackled.

There's a simple way to change your mind...

...find your local american football team, go along to training, pad up and volunteer to go on the line of scrimmage.

An hour later when you're wrecked, your forearms are shredded, you ache all over and you have bruised ribs from some truck like guy in armour clouting you in the side, you'll have changed your mind.

What did I tell you DB!

I said it wouldn't be a scoring fest! I wasn't far out with my prediction of 20-17 to the Pats.

Did you see the San Diego game and the field goal attempt returned for a touchdown? Not seen that happen before.

    No, you don't get it

Apparently attempting to protect yourself from serious injury makes you less of a man.

Those bloody wimps on motorcycles who wear helmets and leathers!

You did pretty damn good with the prediction. I can see them meeting again before long and Colts getting sweet revenge. I shall have to look out for the Chargers. That sounds pretty impressive.
