Another game for the UK next season! (nodding2fingers) Either Wembley, Murryfield or Cardiff Millennium....thing the Millennium would be excellent. Home team to be either Tampa, Kansas, Seattle or New Orleans...............Bring on the Saints! Hopefully I'll manage to get tickets this time!
It would be one of their home games they are giving up....they would get choice of dressing room etc.
Chargers are doing well at the moment. I hope it lasts and the injuries don't come back to haunt them.
A poor choice?! Dolphins and Giants was a poor choice for me, as I dislike both of them. GO SAINTS! I like Seattle as well, and don't mind Tampa. Remember - it's 1 of those as the "home" team, it doesn't mean it's 2 out of those 4.
RE: A poor choice?! NFL chiefs know it will sell out even without one of the play off teams. I'd prefer Saints out of them four as well.
Chargers would look really good if they win. All the injuries, beating Colts and then giving the Pats their first defeat of the season. I shall go for Pats by seven points.
RE: A poor choice?! It's also a matter of getting a playoff team to give up a home game. As they just said about the Patriots - highest grossing team, and also a big draw when away, so a team wouldn't want to really give up a game against the Patriots onto neutral soil - then again most games are sold out there, it's why you are less likely though to get the very top teams as the "home" team. I admit that the Saints may not be a draw for many people in the UK, as they aren't one of the popular teams here....but I think the cities will also be in collaboration with the teams....as if they gain fans in the UK then it's potentially more tourists for the city, and I think that will be something New Orleans, in particular, will be interested in.
Patriots showing much class. Not a lot Chargers can do at the minute. They need to close down the difference, before half time if possible.
