Was told last night that a very close friend of ours had been rushed to hospital with a suspected stroke. She was taken from work to BDGH where she had to wait in A&E for about 1 hour to be seen, then after that she was put on a trolley bed and waited for another hour, then transfered to a ward and was told there was no beds available. Then was told that she could not have a brain scan because the department was closed until this morning. Just to let you know that she has 4 kids and is only 29 years old. So much for the tv advert that time is of the essence. (N)
RE: Bet they would see the site ***** in no time I dont know how long where you there??? (zzz) (zzz) (zzz) (zzz)
I went to drs at 5.30 they admitted me to BDGH at 6.30, I was being operated on at 7.30 back on ward at 8.15 ok it was not much of an op but ultimatelyif I had not been operated on I could have been dead
RE: Try to be original East std lowlife nt Awww whats the matter don't you like it been swapped around?? Ive heard your wife does
At least they did not ask if she could pay before they... treated her. It's not perfect but it is something to be damn proud of. I wish your friend all the best
Until people know how much pressure NHS staff are put under please don't complain about having to wait a few hours, people should be more greatful
