    I was very surprised when he signed for Blackburn, especially with Plymouth having just been promoted to the same division. He is a striker and I can only think that, should Cole depart for silly money, he might be considered as a like-for-like replacement. It was odd that he jumped ship at Plymouth and strange that, in spite of injuries, he has not made a bigger impact at Blackburn. Good replacement for Cole if it comes to that, but a luxury signing otherwise and we need to invest first in defence bolstering.
