"There's no point in winning the last week and then all of a sudden going to a team like Barnsley, who you're expected to get three points from, and losing," he said. "They are bottom of the table, so I think we need to win away from home against these sorts of teams to have a chance of getting into the play-offs ." FROM STAR
SD should post that on the dressing room wall and show it to all the players just before going onto the field at 2.55pm.
What's wrong with it? He's right and I'm sure it's the same line of thinking that any manager would take with an away game at Oakwell on the horizon. Don't see a problem.
I am usualy fuming at these kind of remarks but unfortunatly he's right, we are bottom of the league.
RE: You're right He's a really nice bloke. Quiet & just gets on with it. I bet Newcastle are wishing they hadn't knifed him in the back quite as quickly as they did.
It's the way they always say 'teams like Barnsley'. I don't like it but it would be more of an insult of he said 'clubs like Barnsley' as that insinuates the infrastructure and fans etc are poor. It shoud be put up on the wall in font 72!

Let them expect to win, might bring complacency
For what it's worth, I'm not at all confident. They have some really decent players at this level, and signings such as Hoolahan and Sibierski just go to add to that.
I agree with Glen, I expect them to get 3 points, unless we play much, much better than we have of late.

I dont care about this negativity I believe we are more difficult to beat than we were last season. Muller, Da Silva and Collace are making an immediate impact.
I just want to see evidence of us as an attacking force again. I think the returning players will help make us harder to score against, just got to get rid of this long ball rubbish. Oh, and 2 upfront
