Nice One BMI Baby

    Anyone want to help me out with a suitable reply? Basically they've cancelled our flights (which we booked to minimise the amount of time the kids miss school). They've offerd us alternative flights two days earlier, (which means 2 more days off school)or 4 days later - brilliant help as our accommodation is already booked.

    All of the other details from your original booking are the same, i.e. booking reference, passenger details, price, and conditions of carriage. We have also included a copy of the important information below, and strongly recommend that you check-in two hours before your new scheduled departure time. We also recommend that you print this email and take a copy along with the original confirmation email.

    Though its an unverified number so might not work.

    Are there other flights with either BMI or other Star alliance members on the same day or one day either side because if there are phone up and demand to be transferered to one closer than BMI are currently offering

    If not can you book on anyone else at a similar price in which case BMI must accept cancel and refund all you paid.

    Just looked, Easy Jet go that day, but it still means an extra day off school (and work). So annoying. Only booked last week.

    Update

    Not only have BMI refused to call me back (because the line was so bad I couldn't hear what the man in India was saying), but also they will not help me find alternative arrangements.
    They have offered a refund on the flights (I think because I couldn't hear), but to re-book other flights with another airline will cost us £100s more.

    Not happy. /poo

    And where is the man of the house when all this is happening? Incommunicado.
