    Terrific shot of Trevor Aylott rising like a salmon to score against Man City to win the league cup game in 1981

    Was absolutely wonderful to be in a full ground (over 33,000 there that night)

    A second after that photo was taken I was going firkin mental, centre of goal, halfway up Ponty...Five seconds later I was a good 20 yards from that position, carried by a sea of human emotion...Magic night.

    I think four or five of those pixels are me. It was certainly a night to be 6'4"! The young lady who accompanied me was only 5'1" and saw rather less of the game. Still carried away with the emotion and the atmosphere though.
