    if its a midweek game

then shouldnt the chairman of a football club have taken this into account and reduced prices for the game? Expecially as they knew in advance that we had a game on saturday and are playing this saturday too</p>

    Agree

Most people without season tickets obviously took a choice either to go sat or tonight. Those that went sat saw nothing to attract them to tonights offerings.

Tonight must have been lowest league showing for some time.

almost 20 quid for sat was diabolical in the run up to christmas in a week with 2 other home games.

I paid it but was far from happy about it and I wont forget.

    Reap what you sow.

Have you taken over from SM as being the most negative person on here. He had the biggest crowd in the FA cup on Saturday so your point is invalid.

    Interesting Thought.....

would be to do what i do. put a measley £5 a week away over a year and there you have enough for a season ticket. simple enough concept.

It was the lowest league attendance at Oakwell since 15/10/1996

Not sure how that makes the point invalid.

Because they were saying that prices should have been reduced for that match. Other teams in the FA cup who had done so had lower crowds.

yeah because fans are staying away when we are in the playoffs. imagine the crowds if we were where we were this time last season.

Last night surly has 2 make them look at doing something now!! It looked awful being LESS than THIRD full!!

Something has 2 be done 2 fill some seats, free kids tickets please 4 schools 2 fill up the north stand, bung these 300 away fans in the un used west!! Least some adults might come with these kids!!

Last night should have been cheaper tickets and now Scunny are doing poor, this game shouldn't be cat A on Saturday!! People who had all ready bought tickets could have had money of there next ticket or something!!

3 games in a week is a lot, I have been 2 all 3 though and all 3 from Hull and I'm not well off!! The fans need 2 back the club a bit more as well when we look like we have a real chance of making it back up 2 where we need 2 be so much!!

Come on fans of Barnsley and people of the town, really try and get when you can!! But the club need 2 help out with prices as well, but it can't be easy when we try for success, you need money!!

    Like I said....

buy a season ticket. surely EVERYONE can afford about £5 a week over a year ? and thats for adult ticket. so it would be less then £5 for students and juveniles.

some people just cant make it to every game. and are put off coming to the odd one due to the price. and its all well and good saying that but not everyone wants to committ to a season ticket. But people who might only go to ten games a season might not bother at all

    I know what ill do.
ill spend nearly 400 on a season ticket and give it to a mate for 80% of the games.

    Why Dont You...

split a season ticket between a couple of mates that want to go ? if prices are too cheap then there would be no point in a season ticket. we has season ticket holders take the risk that we will play good and buy one. but fair weather supporters will simply stay away when we play bad which we never do.
