I don't suppose we will be told how much, but I presume Scunny and Plymouth have decent windfalls to come from our two sales. It works both ways. We sell players, they make a profit for their buyers, we make a bit more. It's the commercial nature of football. These are not OUR players as such. They are commodities to enjoy while we have them and, hopefully, of good enough quality to get us our money back and a profit on top. We can moan as much as we like that it is not enough, but there's a balancing act to be considered. We've been fleeced by too many managers and players in recent years to keep falling for it. I'm happy with the way the club is progressing. Slowly, carefully, safely - I don't expect us to reach the Premier League in May but if we just get CLOSE to it what a season it will have been!
