Would love to see no segregation between Leeds and Millwall.

Not really. But that would be interesting

Me and a few other London Tykes went to the last game of the season at Barnet about 15 years ago when they were playing Torquay, with the loser doomed to relegation out of the league. I say we went to it, but we didn't get in. Their average crowd was a little over 2,000, but for this game it was a sell out (around 5,500), with another couple of thousand locked out. There were so many Barnet fans in the queue moaning that "they've been going down there for years and it's disgusting that they can't get in, etc, etc". I would have thought that if they were loyal fans like that they would have had a season ticket, or at least be aware enough that the crowd was going to triple and book a ticket in advance. So we ended up on the pi55 in High Barnet instead, which went down well with all the missuses when we turned up to the party we were all due at later that evening in a bit of a state. Barnet lost 3-2 anyway.

Heh, they're nothing but a bunch of idiots. Those morons probably think that they're really tough, but it's just embarrassing to watch that. Grown men fighting each other because of a ball game. FFS. As much as I love the passion in English football, it often makes me cringe as well. Why can't all the idiots go to watch water polo or something and leave football for the proper fans?

That's a 10 minute clip, of which about 30 secs is related to your point. That is some weak evidence.

It would be best to judge after the game has taken place although it is highly unlikely that Gateshead fans would cause trouble so in this circumstance it would work. I get the feeling that there are very few Gateshead fans travelling down, which is enabling Barnet to give the entire stadium to their own fans.

Could this work regularly in the football league?

    Not a chance, sadly

The key phrase is leeds fans... they can cause trouble in an empty room

Saying that if you jib in the home end you only have your self to blame if some one takes exception.

Sunderland are reknowned for it at oakwell. Only seen us play then twice and both times they were in home end pissed giving it billy big ******** then wondering why theyve got a slap.

I do recall a couple on a Friday night game in sast lower spending half time getting pelted with half eaten pies.
