    Australian International

    Jacob Burns. That does my head in when I read that on the OFFICIAL site.

    We (Aussies) have an Asian Cup qualifier next Wednesday and have none of our big name players available as it isn't a UEFA international date. We have quite a few uncapped players in the squad and are crying out for some experienced international players.

    Step forward Mr Burns - err no, he's not in our worst possible squad, therefore no longer an Australian International.

    Good player and top bloke though, nothing against him, more the person typing the stories on the website.

    Same with Stephen McPhail really, I've no doubt he'd be a good addition to the Irish squad, but it's been a long time since he got called up. Seems no matter how good you are (Colgan), if ya not at least playing championship football, you'll not get a call up.
